Essay Writing

Our team helps each student brainstorm ideas, outline essays, and provide support along the way. We understand the importance of developing a well-written, attention grabbing essay that jumps out of the applicant pool.

The Personal Statement

• Often considered to be the “main” essay affiliated with the Coalition or Common Application, our years of experience in guiding students through this process will help each student craft a strong piece of writing that accurately depicts an important aspect of themselves. Along the way, we help students improve their writing skills that will benefit them in college and beyond.

Supplemental Essays

• Many schools require additional essays that supplement the personal statement in order to get a clear insight into who each student is. Some of these prompts include short questions while others may ask for additional longer format essays. In either case, our writing specialists will guide students throughout the entire process using idea development, clear feedback, and a fresh perspective prior to submission.

Institutional Essays

• While the majority of colleges today accept the Common Application, there still are a few schools who rely on their own applications and essays. This process is quite similar to submitting one of the universal format applications, however, we encourage our students to maintain a clear message throughout their writings. We create a safe place for students to write about personal topics that could give Admissions Officers a deeper understanding of each student’s individuality.
